Born in Birmingham England, Jody spent much of her childhood life as a chess player winning two British Chess titles in 1986 and 1987 and did a great deal to promote womens chess at the time . She graduated in Fine Art at Norwich School of Art specialising in painting and completed a 3 month placement at The Hague Art Academy. Following her degree she relocated to London and continued painting at Wimbledon Art studios taking part in shows with other artists as well as her first solo exhibition.

Jody took a break from her art to work as a UK & European same day courier. This exciting opportunity took her throughout Europe from Cadiz in Spain to Umea in Sweden and even as far as Greece.
Jody currently lives and works in Cheshire England both as an artist as well as running her own courier company Mailee Express.
